Wellness Workdays has introduced Strong Minds, Safe Sites, a mental health and psychological safety program tailored to the construction industry.

The program integrates mental health support, trauma and grief services, and psychological safety training aimed at improving worker well-being and jobsite safety. Services are available both onsite and online and include post-trauma support, mental health first aid training and workforce engagement initiatives.

Construction workers face elevated mental health risks. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the industry has one of the highest suicide rates among occupations, with rates significantly higher than the general population. Research has also shown that improving psychological safety can increase safety compliance and reduce jobsite errors.

Debra Wein, CEO and founder of Wellness Workdays, said the program is designed to provide practical tools to address stress, trauma and stigma while strengthening overall safety culture.

The company said organizations can adopt individual services or combine offerings based on workforce needs.
