Little ID Infrastructure Makes the Grade

Civil engineers give Idaho infrastructure a C overall, with Ds for bridges, dams, highways, light rail

The Gem State report card comes out Thursday, and Mom and Dad won’t be happy: Most of Idaho’s infrastructure has not been funded or maintained to an adequate level to keep citizens safe, healthy, mobile and economically competitive.

That’s the conclusion of a group of 25 Idaho civil engineers who will issue a report later today after an 18-month review of 11 infrastructure categories.
