According to a construction worker who has been involved with construction of the new Apple campus in Cupertino, the tech company may have raised the bar for construction standards.

The source has said Apple has been very involved in the day-to-day interaction on the project with Apple employees assigned to each "specific geographic location" of the project, which is broken up into nine wedges. Employees from the architectural firm behind the design are also on site to supervise.

The source also said that every piece of the building has been engineered, meaning even the smallest details you won't see when the building is complete have been looked at, measured and mocked up.
