Plans for a new tower at 420 Albee Square in Brooklyn, N.Y., have just been released, and the 40-story, 600-foot tower will be the borough's second tallest building behind a 1,000-foot residential tower in the works just a few blocks away. The project is scheduled to break ground in 2016 with completion in 2018.
The project is the first ground-up commercial development since the area's rezoning in 2004. Kohn Pedersen Fox is designing the structure along with developers JEMB Realty and NYCEDC.
