Police in Lakewood, WA, are searching for a man they say broke through the gates of a secure lot where AA Asphalting stores its equipment and swiped 20 tons of construction equipment. The missing items include a dump truck, a trailer, and a backhoe valued at almost $200,000.

The theft took place the day after Christmas.

The thief likely hotwired a 2009 GMC dump truck, and then hooked a trailer to the back of it. On that trailer was a John Deere backhoe. The thief also filled the dump truck with several thousand dollars worth of tools, before driving all of it out of the lot.
