MA Contractor Owes $54,000 for Violating Prevailing Wage, Overtime Laws

Massachusetts construction company I.W. Harding Construction Company, Inc. and its owner James E. Shalek were cited for failing to pay the proper prevailing wage, failing to pay overtime, failing to submit true and accurate certified payroll records, and failing to furnish true and accurate payroll records to the Attorney General's Office.

The company owes more than $54,000 in restitution and penalties for the violations on 11 public works construction projects throughout the state between March 2013 and August 2014.
