Shutdown Accord Eliminates $271M New Jersey Tunnel Money

A late-night measure that prevented a federal government shutdown also ended any chance for New Jersey to use $271 million that Gov. Chris Christie rejected for the Trans-Hudson rail tunnel on some other transportation project in the Garden State.
