Webinar: Standardize Project Design and Delivery with BIM

Learn how BIM eases challenges to standardized asset design and integrated asset delivery

Key strategies in the war on project costs accelerated by the construction industry's economic distress are design standardization and integrating asset delivery. Getting them right can be tricky. Standardized design requires a change in the traditional roles and relationships between architects and contractors, and integrated processes only really deliver when the entire supply chain buys in to the philosophy.

Standardized design and integrated delivery are often dealt with in isolation, but both can be facilitated through the use of building information modeling (BIM) technologies, and each can support the other.

This AGC webinar will look at how BIM might be leveraged across the construction landscape to support standardized creation of assets -- exploring concepts ranging from reusable designs to model-driven machine control and beyond. Painting a picture of efficiency to get excited about, but also seeding concepts for turning these trends into new opportunities.
