The concrete industry keeps evolving and changing, updating the best practices and equipment used. There are always fresh topics to learn about and things from which you can gather inspiration. Concrete Contractor has collected a short list of conferences and expos across the U.S. (and sometimes Canada) that focus on specific areas of the concrete industry.
However, this is not an exhaustive list. Your state's concrete/cement association might have its own conference and local educational tracks and the American Concrete Institute's Resource Centers are a great place for certification and additional training.
January
World of Concrete, January 21-23 (with education sessions starting Jan. 20) — Las Vegas Convention Center - Las Vegas, NV
Being the industry's only annual international event exclusively for the concrete and masonry industries, World of Concrete is always a popular one. With over a thousand exhibitors in the 2024 show, 2025 is sure to be packed with a wide variety of booths and equipment.
The show features a wide variety of special events, educational sessions, breakfasts/luncheons, and indoor/outdoor exhibits and events. There is bound to be something for everyone at the annual World of Concrete event.
February
Pile Driving Contractors Association Annual Conference, February 4-6 — J.W. Marriott Hill Country Resort - San Antonio, TX
This show will feature a trade show, a variety of educational sessions, and a gold outing. In addition, there will also be PDCA's annual awards program that will celebrate the 2024 Project of the Year Awards and Association Awards winners. Get your cowboy hat ready for this industry event.
The Precast Show, February 5-7 — Indiana Convention Center - Indianapolis, IN
The Precast Show offers concrete professionals a place to explore new technologies and connect with other people in the industry. It's a great place to discuss and recognize the different areas of concrete. Along with hundreds of exhibitors, there will be various events throughout the three days. These events include things like presentations, luncheons, and various business events as well as precast plant tours, museum tours, and a sponsored seminar.
The NPCA Silent Auction and the NPCA Foundation Student Competition will also take place during this show. There are tons of things to see and do, making it a show you won't want to miss.
Decorative Concrete Expo, February 27-28 — Center for Performance - Canton, OH
The Decorative Concrete Expo is a great way for professionals in the industry to connect with other decorative concrete artists and learn about different tools and practices. There will be prizes and raffles, and a pool of people to get advice from. With lots of artist demonstrations, this expo is a great opportunity for professionals in the decorative concrete industry to come together, network, and learn new, different, or better ways of doing things.
March/April
The National Ready-Mix Concrete Association Annual Convention, March 4-7 — JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort & Spa - Tucson, AZ
The NRMCA's Annual Convention brings together professionals in the concrete industry and offers a place for them to gather inspiration and get a look into current trends. This is an excellent event for ready-mix concrete professionals to learn more about their trade and share ideas with the rest of their community. When the industry comes together, it is a great time for experts to discuss possible ways to manage any future challenges they may collectively face.
The American Shotcrete Association Shotcrete Convention & Technology Conference, March 9-11 — The DeSoto - Savannah, GA
The unique world of shotcrete has its own convention, which is a great opportunity for the industry to discover the different equipment, materials, and uses that shotcrete has. ASA's Shotcrete Convention & Technology Conference is an annual show that provides the industry with a place to learn, network, celebrate ASA shotcrete award winners, and have fun.
At ASA's event, attendees will get the chance to see new shotcrete technology and network while still enjoying the local activities of Savannah, GA.
Concrete Sawing & Drilling Association Annual Conference, March 10-14 — Plaza San Antonio Hotel & Spa - San Antonio, TX
The CSDA's Annual Conference is the ideal spot for concrete professionals to gather and get inspired by their peers, "spurring imagination". There will be an array of meetings and general sessions paired alongside fun and interesting events like workshops and offsite excursions, a gala reception/dinner, and a kids' pizza night.
There will also be plenty of committee meals which provide the opportunity to meet new people and get in some networking.
National Stone, Sand, & Gravel Association Annual Convention, March 25-27 — Americas Center Convention Complex - St. Lois, MO
The NSSGA's Annual Convention will feature many educational sessions and speakers. With the opportunity to network and tackle some of the issues facing the industry, the show is a great way to form connections and stay up-to-date with the industry. In addition to breakout sessions and various communities, there is a 5K, a Young Leaders Reception, and a Young Leaders Luncheon.
ACI Spring Concrete Convention, March 30-April 2 — Sheraton Centre Toronto - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
The ACI Spring Concrete Convention is an event filled with exhibits, workshops, roundtables, symposiums, and more. The ACI Spring Concrete Convention is a great place to learn and view numerous educational sessions on various topics.

IEEE-IAS/PCA Cement Conference, May 4-8 — Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex - Birmingham, AL
The IEEE-IAS/PCA Cement Conference continues to grow each year with more than 1,000 attendees and upwards of 400 companies expected. This event will have numerous training sessions and over 100 exhibits. It will also feature a cement plant tour. And, of course, there will be plenty of networking opportunities.

SuperPile, June 18-20 — Cleveland, OH
With lots of presentations and meetings that will go over things like new innovations and piling solutions, this event is a great way to network, educate yourself, and stay up to date with the industry. This event will help you stay on top of the best ways to manage industry challenges.

The American Society of Concrete Contractors Concrete Executive Leadership Forum, July 17-20 — Omni La Costa - Carlsbad, CA
This event brings both concrete and general contracting executives from all sorts of firms together to learn and build relationships. It is an important forum to help these professionals realize that industry challenges are not their own and they can get help, advice, and support from each other.
Concrete Foundations Association Annual Convention, July 18-20 — Deadwood Mountain Grand - Deadwood, SD
This annual convention highlights many educational sessions, exhibits, and various social opportunities. This is a great event to attend to continue learning about the concrete industry, meet new people, and network. There will be presentations on hot topics and business operations. There will be a speed networking event. Attendees can also go to a happy hour on the first two days.

The American Society of Concrete Contractors Annual Conference, September 10-13 — Hyatt Regency Indianapolis - Indianapolis, IN
Concrete industry professionals come together for this annual conference to experience educational sessions on safety, technology, decorative concrete, and more. This event is also a great networking opportunity. The ASCC will be recognizing a handful of innovators in the concrete industry with a few awards. There will be a few other awards announced during this event as well.

National Precast Concrete Association Annual Convention, October 2-4 — Grand Rapids, MI
Celebrating its 60th annual convention, NPCA's show will be an exciting one. It brings together company owners and high-level managers for things like association business, executive training, and a look into the future.

National Ready-Mix Concrete Association ConcreteWorks, October 10-14 — Orlando, FL
The NRMCA's ConcreteWorks event is dedicated to professionals in the ready-mixed concrete industry. There will be opportunities to network with ready-mix professionals throughout the U.S. Attendees will be able to participate in seminars, meetings, and explore the latest in the exhibit hall.
