A Product Designed to Aid the Repair of Our Crumbling Infrastructure

Repairing a pylon typically requires a one-time use form of cardboard in select prefab sizes. The Form-A-Tube product allows contractors to do the same, but with the benefit of making a tube as you need with interlocking pieces.

In this episode of The Cure, Concrete Contractor editor Jonathan Kozlowski speaks with Professor Mo Ehsani, the president and owner of Form-A-Tube LLC and Centennial Emeritus Professor of Civil Engineering of the University of Arizona.

Professor Ehsani developed the Form-A-Tube product which allows a contractor to piece together an ad-hoc form on the site. Flip the product over on the reverse side and it’s a reusable form.

Concrete Contractor's The Cure is a video series dedicated to talk about the concrete industry, happenings, and looks to find a cure to the issues concrete contractors have. Episodes can cover a wide range of topics including placing concrete, pouring cement, decorative concrete, etc. Learn about equipment and products, pumps, trowels, repair, and much more. Hosted by Concrete Contractor editor Jonathan Kozlowski.
