World Center of Concrete Technologies Offers Volumetric Concrete Mixer Course

The course will focus on the calibration and operation of volumetric concrete mixers.

The World Center of Concrete Technologies (WCCT) announces they will be offering a course on calibration and operation of volumetric concrete mixers. The course will be of interest to owners and operators of this type of equipment. The WCCT is located on the campus of Alpena Community College where they conduct education, training, testing and research for concrete-related industries. The center also offers an Associate in Applied Science degree in Concrete Technology which is a unique two-year college degree that provides students a hands-on approach to education in concrete technology.

A luncheon and forum will be held for attendees at the 2011 World of Concrete in Las Vegas. The forum will be held on Thursday, January 20, in room S221 of the Convention Center from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm. The cost for the luncheon is $80 if you register by 12/09/10; $105 after 12/09/10 & onsite.
