The American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC) continues its webinar series on Wednesday, May 8, with an update on the OSHA Crane Operator Qualification rule.

The one-hour webinar begins at 3 p.m. CDT. Presenters include Thom Sicklesteel, general manager of USA Leavitt Cranes, and Graham Brent, CEO of NCCCO.

On Nov. 8, 2018, OSHA published a final rule on operator qualification, detailing a three-step approach: training, certification and evaluation. During this webinar, attendees will hear from two industry experts on the key implications of this important development in the federal regulation of crane operations. They will answer the following questions:

  • Who pays for the training and certification?
  • How should employers evaluate their operators, and how often?
  • What documentation is required?
  • What implications, if any, are there to existing crane operator certifications?

ASCC webinars are free to ASCC members. Non-member may attend for a $35 fee.
