Do contractors ever heat curing water? Does the surface temperature of flatwork often exceed 75 degrees Fahrenheit to 85 degrees Fahrenheit? Yes. But if the curing water wasn’t heated, would the concrete crack?
One form was was filled to the top. An immersion thermometer was inserted in the slab and the concrete temperature was recorded for two hours and 40 minutes until right after curing water was applied.

E-Z Drill Expands Manufacturing Plant to Streamline Production, Increase Capacity
E-Z Drill, Inc.
E-Z Drill’s new factory expansion increases its production capacity by adding more than 7,500 square feet of floor space, roughly 20 percent more room, to its 36,355-square-foot factory.
E-Z Drill’s new factory expansion will house an office and a new shipping and receiving area, as well as make room for E-Z Drill’s growing welding department. The project began in June with setting the concrete foundation and is projected for completion by early fall 2015.
