More than 2,000 construction professionals completed the JBKnowledge fourth annual Construction Technology Survey, providing key statistics on technology usage by all construction-companies sizes and specialties. The newly released 2015 Construction Technology Report reveals the full results of that survey.
The 2015 Construction Technology Report is powered by JBKnowledge Inc. in partnership with the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), HCSS Construction Software and Texas A&M University’s Construction Science Department.
Since 2012, the annual report has provided valuable insight into the technology tools, cloud adoption, data security, software integration, mobile policies, emerging technologies and ultimately the role of information technology in construction companies. The number of survey respondents was more than double last year’s survey, and analysis of historical data offers deeper insights.
The survey measured, for example, the growth in companies employing a variety of drones to capture data for aerial imaging, topographical mapping, video recording and much more.
