In June of 2016, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) promulgated a comprehensive set of new rules on the commercial use of small drones. These new rules impose a variety of limits on the operation of small drones. They also require the certification of drone operators. This WebEd is a “must” for any construction contractor that wants to fly drones over or around its projects, or contract with other firms to perform that task. Everyone has to get a handle on the new “rules of the road.”
