It took 17 days to complete the world's first fully functional, 3D-printed office building in Dubai. The 2,000-square-foot office will be the temporary office of the Dubai Future Foundation.
The offices and all the interior furniture, detailing and structural components were fabricated with a 20-foot-high 3D printer with an automated robot arm. Materials included a mixture of special reinforced concrete, glass fiber reinforced gypsum and fiber reinforced plastic.
