Kudelski IoT, the Internet of Things division of the Kudelski Group, has partnered with Stotz Equipment to provide a new asset tracking option for equipment owners, renters, and dealers across the agricultural, construction, and turf care industries. The collaboration brings Kudelski’s RecovR solution to Stotz customers, helping them monitor and manage equipment locations more easily — without subscription fees.
Tracking equipment across large properties or multiple jobsites is a constant challenge for contractors and farm operators. A lack of real-time asset visibility can lead to lost productivity, delayed logistics, and increased downtime. RecovR aims to address these issues with wireless installation, long battery life, and automatic asset monitoring that requires minimal upkeep.
“Our customers manage complex operations with multiple people handling equipment daily,” said Justin Murray, Director of Precision Technology at Stotz Equipment. “RecovR gives our customers complete visibility into their equipment fleet, helping reduce inefficiencies and improve logistics. The fact that there are no subscription fees makes it even more accessible.”
In addition to improving operational oversight, the technology also supports theft prevention and recovery. Users can set up geo-fencing alerts to be notified if equipment moves beyond a designated area, and the system helps streamline collaboration with law enforcement in the event of a theft.
Already in use at more than 1,000 automotive dealerships in North America, RecovR is now being offered through Stotz Equipment for customers using a variety of heavy machinery. The solution also integrates with the John Deere Operations Center, providing a single view of all tracked assets for those using John Deere platforms.
With its ease of installation, no-fee model, and compatibility with existing equipment ecosystems, RecovR offers a practical option for businesses looking to improve equipment oversight and reduce risk.
