Following are brief descriptions of each, along with links so you can watch and see why they’ve generated so much interest.

Project Minotaur combines a compact track loader and a dozer to create the industry’s first ever Compact Dozer Loader, the DL450. Case is taking this concept machine to the next stages. The 1CXT was previewed at The Rental Show in February and will be arriving in the U.S. toward the end of 2019. It features tracks to provide all of the driving ability of a compact track loader but with the features of a traditional backhoe-loader, including up to a 10-ft. 1-in. backhoe dig depth from its side-shift backhoe.

The Bobcat Bob-Dock system goes beyond the traditional Bob-Tach system to provide a hands-free hydraulic attachment mounting system. The SpiderScreed Series is a compact, lightweight, maneuverable drive-in system designed for upper deck concrete and slab-on-grade screeding applications. It features a 100% TIG welded tubular aluminum cage design that keeps overall weight down to approximately 1,100 lbs. Its power to weight ratio (55 lbs. per horsepower) allows lower slumps and cooler running at all times.

Designed for ease of transport, the SVL65-2 meets customer requests for a smaller, lighter machine. This ground-up new design features an advanced multi-functioning hydraulic valve that provides consistent, smooth boom, bucket and auxiliary operation. The loader also offers an optional auto self-level switch and up to 27.3-gpm high-flow hydraulics.

The rubber tire BF 300 P-2 and BF 300 C-2 track pavers include the SIDEVIEW system with fully adjustable operating console and seat. MAGMALIFE technology heats the screed plates to paving temperatures in roughly 20 minutes. The Load Control System enables the operator to securely lock the screed into position for a set duration after paver restart.

A redesigned VPAT dozer cuts weight and a 10-roller undercarriage option speeds fine grading.
[VIDEO] Wacker Neuson Introduces New Concept with Dual View Dumper
The dual view dumpers allow the entire operator’s console to swivel 180˚ so the operator is always facing the task. The 6-ton DV60, 9-ton DV90 and 10-ton DV100 provide optimal visibility, regardless of the working direction or payload size. They enable dumping from the front of the skip or the skip can be rotated 90˚ in both directions to dump from either side.
[VIDEO] Telescopic Loader Arms Extend Toro Dingo’s Reach above 10 ft.
The 2,000-lb.-capacity Dingo TXL 2000 is the largest in Toro’s compact loader line. It uses telescopic loader arms to extend its maximum hinge pin height above 10 ft. to dump into the center of tandem dumps and unload both rows of material off flatbed trucks from a single side. The unit is also available with an extendable arm option for extended reach.

The LeeBoy 4130 road widener was redesigned to comply with Tier 4 final regulations and to help contractors work more efficiently. The narrow width design allows for shipping without a permit. The PRX is the industry’s first dedicated power float. It has 12 ft. of coverage and is powered by a Ford V6 3.6L dual-fuel engine that can run on gasoline or propane. A patent-pending design includes a generator close-coupled to the engine to produce AC power that is sent to a pair of multi-phase, high-torque electric motors that turn the rotors.

The 3-yd. 544L wheel loader is the first in John Deere’s new L Series lineup. It features an all-new operator station, electrohydraulic controls and an entirely redesigned front end, including the linkage, bucket and attachments. The completely new operator station includes an external air conditioning system for more legroom, a premium heated and ventilated seat, dual tilt steering column and a 7-in. high-definition display.

The Ram 1500 Multifunction Tailgate adds greater utility for cargo management and storage. In addition to retaining the capabilities of a fully-dampened, drop-down tailgate with remote release options, it adds 60-40 split, swing-away functionality to enhance bed access and utility. It is trailer-friendly and does not require that the trailer and hitch be removed before opening.

Brokk introduced four new demolition robot models ranging from the 1.6-ton 170 up to the 520 in the 5+ ton class. The hammer size has been upgraded to allow the same size machine to hit 40% harder than its predecessor model. The 200 represents a new size class for the company, packing the power of a 3-ton model into a 2-ton package. Also highlighted are hydrodemolition products from Aquajet, which Brokk acquired two years ago.

The Dynapac MF2500CS material transfer vehicle features a durable conveyor belt system that can empty a standard 35-ton truckload in as little as 35 seconds, reducing truck cycle times and boosting overall productivity. Its controls are intuitive and simple to use, allowing operators of varying skill levels to confidently operate the feeder. The feeder is also fully automated through the integration of auto distance control and auto feed to the paver.

[VIDEO] Compact Excavator Sales Introduces Battery-powered Excavator
The 9VXE-3 electric mini-excavator comes standard with all the features of its diesel counterpart but is completely battery powered. The combination of a zero-emission motor with features such as an expandable undercarriage allowing the unit to fit through a 30-in. door make it well suited for indoor demolition and other applications. Also highlighted are the Canycom concrete buggies, which Kato has now carried for 25 years.

Applied Machinery Sales’ tallest reaching rotating telehandler reaches 115 ft. high and 96 ft. forward. The Merlo Roto R50.35 S-Plus has a tilt cab with integrated controls, 10,900-lb. capacity and 360˚ rotating turret. The Advanced Safety System collects and analyzes different machine parameters in real time including load position, boom extension angles, turret rotation, stabilizer position and load weight to create the load diagram. It also automatically recognizes and incorporates attachment information.
[VIDEO] Lind Lightweight Light Towers Make World of Concrete Debut
Lind Beacon LED light towers weigh only 300 lbs., deliver the same light output as metal halide light towers, can be plugged in or run off an inverter and feature an external gas tank. Since they are created from the lights down rather from than the generator up, they are designed as very small, portable units that enable easy transport around a jobsite and require lower energy consumption and maintenance.
[VIDEO] Makinex Squeezes 16 Kw of 3-Phase Power into a Portable Generator
Makinex offers a generator that produces 16,000 watts of power in three-phase and single-phase simultaneously, as well as offers 120 volts. It will run for eight hours at a 75% load on a single tank of fuel. It takes portability to a new level by providing the power of a towable in a much smaller, more portable footprint. Rare-earth magnets in the proprietary alternator produce 15% more electric power per horsepower, and eliminate the need for computer boards to regulate power.
[VIDEO] ASV Expands RT CTL Line with Smaller and Larger Models
ASV has expanded on its legacy RT-30 with the larger RT-40 and the smaller RT-25. The high-performance RT-40 features a Tier 4 Final engine with turbocharger and power increase up to 37 hp. At just under 25 hp, the RT-25 does not require aftertreatment, meaning a lower acquisition cost and less maintenance. It represents the “world’s most compact track loader” at a 665-lb. rated operating capacity.

Three new Hy-Brid Lifts series from Custom Equipment include push-around (PA), zero-turn (ZT) and self-propelled (PS) models that stretch platform size and capacity expectations. At 868 lbs., the new PA-1030 is designed to be a lightweight alternative to ladders and scaffold. The new ZT 1630 is the newest model in the ZT series, which offers precise maneuverability. The PS series is the “Pro” series consisting of 10- and 14-ft. models.

Tier 4 Final HL975 and HL955 wheel loaders now feature a standard onboard weighing system. The available AAVM (All-Around View Monitoring) system provides a 360˚ surround virtual operating view of the jobsite. It includes the IMOD (Intelligent Moving Object Detection) system, which senses and warns the operator when objects come within a set perimeter of the machine.
