The heavy-duty attachment can mulch up to 6-in. of materials. Equipped with a low-profile motor, the Disc Hawk contains a total of 48 knives (12 knives for top tooling, 12 knives for edge tooling and 24 knives for bottom tooling).  This attachment features a 60-in. cut width.

“We’re excited to expand our lineup of disc mulchers to provide customers with yet another viable tool in their toolbox to help them get the job done right,” said Mark Middendorf, Fecon’s executive vice president of sales. “This new disc mulcher is a game-changer for contractors looking to increase their productivity in large land clearing operations.”

When it comes to performance, the Disc Hawk offers both top-down feeding and bottom-up feeding. Top-feeding uses the bottom of the attachment and is for handling trees or brush piles. Bottom-up feeding is facilitated by the right side of the attachment, intake feed and body structure. Operators can tilt the attachment forward, allowing the front of the unit to reach material on the ground. The left side of the Disc Hawk is for cutting large trees.
