BOMAG Reveals Pivot-Steered Tandem Roller BW 174 APO-5

The BOMAG BW 174 APO-5 is a large pivot-steered tandem roller designed for work on seams, thin layers, and bridges. It has the technology to set machine parameters just by selecting a paving layer. The machine can be particularly efficient due to ECOMODE/ECOSTOP and optional hybrid technology.

• Has an optional "follow-me-home" function where the two spotlights on the front side of the cab remain active for a short time after the machine has been switched off and light the way for the driver across the construction site.
• The edge cutter can be changed very quickly.

• The shape of the windows allows the driver can see the edge of the drum from the side seating position with the window closed.
