BOMAG Unveils Pivot-Steered Tandem Roller BW 174 ACP-5

The BOMAG BW 174 ACP-5  is a pivot-steered tandem roller that does a compacting and kneading action and has combination rollers with one set of wheels at the rear to ensure optimum surface finishing.

• Has optional heated and electrically adjustable front side mirrors, four additional mirrors (on the cab and rear frame), and various camera systems (passive & active) available.
• The sprung seat can be adjusted to the driver’s weight and the cab is also decoupled and mounted on vibration-damping bearings - factors that ensure significantly fewer jolts and vibrations.
• Has an optional "follow-me-home" function where the two spotlights on the front side of the cab remain active for a short time after the machine has been switched off and light the way for the driver across the construction site.
• The edge cutter can be changed very quickly.
• All functions of the tandem roller can now be preset on the touchscreen.
• The shape of the windows allows the driver can see the edge of the drum from the side seating position with the window closed.
