Manitowoc designed the 31000 lattice boom crawler crane, currently its largest capacity crawler crane. The crane features a Variable Position Counterweight system that positions the crane's counterweight between eight meters fully retracted to 29 meters fully extended.

- Dual 600 hp Cummins engine
- EPIC controls with CAN-bus technology
- Five-section, high strength welded steel carbody
