CASE Construction Equipment has introduced three new D Series mini excavators in the 3-ton class: the CX30D, CX34D and CX38D.

First previewed at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, the compact machines feature zero-tailswing designs for working close to structures and in other confined spaces. The lineup is designed to support a variety of applications, including digging, trenching, grading and material handling.

The excavators include operator-focused features such as an automotive-style cab, ergonomic controls, a suspension seat and improved visibility. Serviceability is enhanced through accessible maintenance points and a tilting cab.

The CX38D comes standard with a long arm, thumb bracket, hydraulic auxiliary flow control and electronic throttle control with auto idle. The CX30D and CX38D also include an expanded lighting package for improved visibility in low-light conditions.

All three models are compatible with a range of hydraulic attachments and come standard with a hydraulic pin grabber coupler provision for faster attachment changes. The CX38D is also available with an optional six-way dozer blade and additional hydraulic circuits for specialized attachments.
