Yanmar Compact Equipment EMEA has introduced the SV10 mini excavator, a compact machine designed for work in confined and urban jobsite environments. Built for the 0–2 ton segment, the SV10 features a narrow width of 740 mm, allowing it to pass through standard doorways and operate in tight spaces. A variable undercarriage expands to 990 mm to improve stability when needed.
The machine is designed for applications including construction, utilities, landscaping and indoor renovation. A short swing radius and 60-degree boom swing support precise operation in restricted areas.
Powered by a Yanmar 3TNV70 engine, the SV10 delivers 9.2 kW of net power, with digging depths up to 1,800 mm. It is compatible with a range of attachments, supporting tasks such as trenching, light demolition and site work.
Operator-focused updates include simplified controls and improved ergonomics, aimed at supporting ease of use across varying experience levels. The machine also includes a ROPS structure for safety.
