Scotland-based Terex Trucks will exhibit in the Gold Lot booth G3987 at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017, where it will showcase its 41-ton-capacity Generation 10 TA400, a Tier 4 Final-compliant hauler that is the first product to be launched since Terex Trucks was acquired by Volvo Construction Equipment. Made in Motherwell, the Gen10 TA400 is the largest in the company's articulated hauler family, and features upgraded hydraulic and electrical interfaces, new drop box, improved aesthetics and telematics in an effort to maximize the uptime of the dump truck.

Also taking the spotlight at CONEXPO-CON/AGG is the TR60 rigid dump truck with a payload of 60 tons. Fitted with the Cummins six-cylinder, 19-litre engine, the TR60’s drivetrain gear reduction provides optimal rimpull, powering the rigid hauler up steep gradients. A high-capacity haul body makes for low retention carryback and cleaner dumping.

“CONEXPO-CON/AGG is a good opportunity for Terex Trucks to present the results of just some of the major investments that have taken place in the last few years," said Paul Douglas, Director and General Manager at Terex Trucks. "Terex Trucks is now in a confident position and is transforming the way the brand goes to market."

The company will also offer customers in the US and Canada three years of full machine warranty, three years of planned maintenance and three years of telematics as standard. Available with Terex Trucks’ line of Generation 10 articulated haulers, the new initiative is the first of its kind for the manufacturer. In addition, it is launching a two-year or 6,000-hour warranty on all Factory-Approved parts to show the company's commitment to offering the best aftermarket support to ensure customers can maximize operational output.

“We’re excited to launch the new two-year Factory-Approved parts warranty, as well as the three-year package on all GEN10 machines, which I believe is an OEM first and solid proof of Terex Trucks’ commitment to customers, and the confidence in our products," Douglas stated. "Furthermore, the event is the perfect opportunity to showcase the Generation 10 TA400 and the TR60 to our customers, as well as details of our improved customer support and service excellence.”

Product specialists and senior managers will be available in the booth to demonstrate how the company has strengthened its dealer network, increased the worldwide availability of parts and enhanced its products and customer service solutions.

There will also be a fun area on the stand where visitors will have the chance to guide a remote-controlled hauler around an assault course. There will be a prize at the end of each day for the person with the quickest time.
