First Generation 8 dozer features three levels of smart operator assistance thanks to Liebherr OAS – Operator Assistance Systems

At CONEXPO 2020, Liebherr introduced its Generation 8 crawler dozers to the North American market with the PR 736 G8. It is equipped with many new developments for even more operator comfort, optimized grading characteristics and the new standard grading systems. 

  • Powered by a newly developed, 217-bhp Liebherr Tier 4 Final diesel engine with Eco mode
  • Up to an 56,218-lb. operating weight
  • Various blade versions (straight, semi-U and six-way) available in capacities from 5.36 to 7.27 cu. yds.
  • Operator’s cabin includes a grab handle with integrated joystick for the rear ripper (25-ton class), reduced vibration and noise, standard climate control and a 9-in. display
  • Liebherr OAS – Operator Assistance Systems offers a “Free Grade“ level for active blade stabilization during fine grading, “Definition Grade“ level for automatic blade positioning when creating 2D grades and “3D Grade“ option to model complex terrain shapes
  • Standard roof-mounted GPS/GNSS antennas
  • Standard onboard Active Sensor Control stabilizes all blade axis
  • Electronically pilot controlled work hydraulics allow for swift, highly precise work cycles
  • Hydrostatic drive system
  • Wide-opening hatches, central maintenance points and the tilting cabin facilitate daily maintenance and access for inspection
  • Standard LiDAT fleet management system delivers information on location and operation
