Steelwrist has expanded its third-generation XTR tiltrotator lineup for excavators with the introduction of the XTR7 and XTR13 models.
The company also introduced SuperProp, a patented hydraulic technology that provides fully pressure-compensated proportional control. Combined with the XTR tiltrotators and Steelwrist's QuantumConnect control platform, the system is designed to improve machine performance and operator control.
The XTR platform features a compact design with cast steel components, updated tilt geometry, upgraded hydraulics and the company's OptiLube onboard lubrication system. Additional features include high-resolution tilt and rotation sensors and integrated work tool safety systems.
Depending on the coupler interface, the tiltrotators are equipped with either the LockSense safety system or the Front Pin Hook safety solution to help secure work tool changes.
