The Historic Construction Equipment Association's (HCEA) International Convention & Old Equipment Expo will, as always, put a lot of antique machinery to work, but the 2012 event is special because it will also host the Antique Caterpillar Machinery Owners Club Annual Show. So expect many finely restored Caterpillar machines on static display and in action September 14 through 16 in Bowling Green, Ohio.

Because the HCEA event will be held at the association's National Construction Equipment Museum, it also provides an opportunity for the group to put its collection of restored machinery to work. The museum houses more than fifty machines dating from the early 1900s through the mid-1960s.
