Cat 963K Track Loader Gains Up To 30% in Fuel Efficiency, Performance

The 44,771-lb. 963K track loader is powered by a 193-hp C7.1 ACERT twin turbo, Tier 4 Final engine with Eco Mode that automatically reduces engine speed but maintains selected ground speed when the machine is under light load. The more efficient engine and Eco Mode combine to deliver a 10% to 30% gain in fuel efficiency compared to the 963D. Efficient use of diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) – typically 2.5% to 3% of fuel consumption - provides optimal overall fluid efficiency.
