Milwaukee unveiled two new charging solutions for the landscape industry: the M18 Six Bay Daisy Chain Rapid Charger and the M18 Dual Bay Simultaneous Super Charger with four-point mounting.
M18 Six Bay Daisy Chain Rapid Charger
Optimized for companies operating with multiple crews that utilize a high number of M18 battery packs and desire a centralized charging destination, the M18 Six Bay Daisy Chain Rapid Charger delivers a versatile power management experience without the need for costly electrical infrastructure updates. By unlocking the capability of bulk overnight charging on a single 15A circuit and rapid daytime charging while going from job to job.
It offers crews the ability to have a centralized charging hub. By daisy-chaining up to 10 chargers together and switching into overnight charge mode, users can efficiently charge up to 60 M18 battery packs overnight on a single 15A circuit. By eliminating the need to manage limited outlet availability and the concern of electrical infrastructure limitations, this system ensures crews can grab and go with the charger and batteries they need to power their workday.
Switching from overnight mode to daytime mode provides a rapid charge rate, making it ideal for users who need faster battery turn around during the day and allows up to four chargers to be daisy-chained together. With the rapid charge rate and a two-battery simultaneous charge sequence, users experience reduced downtime, ensuring greater productivity and efficiency on the job.
M18 Dual Bay Simultaneous Super Charger with four-point mounting
Designed to meet the demands of users requiring the fastest charging solution, this charger ensures minimal downtime and maximizes productivity. Optimized for users who need to charge batteries in mobile environments or on the go, this new charger delivers up to six times faster charging, advanced high-speed cooling technology and the versatility to charge in mobile set-ups.
This solution can charge an M18 RedLithium Forge XC8.0 and M18 RedLithium Forge HD12.0 battery to 80% in 35 minutes, and an M18 RedLithium Forge XC6.0 battery to 80% in only 15 minutes.
The new Super Charger is Cool-Cycle capable, enabling significantly faster charge times and providing high-speed cooling for Cool-Cycle capable battery packs. The Cool-Cycle Active Cooling System allows hot, Cool-Cycle Capable batteries to charge faster by immediately starting to cool them once they are paired with the charger. Providing users performing high-demand applications or working in hot climates with the ability to get back to work faster and increase performance when doing back-to-back work. Additionally, the charger features Charge Adapt Adaptive Charge Distribution which intelligently optimizes power delivery to charge up to two batteries simultaneously for maximum efficiency. This charger features RedLink Intelligence, which seamlessly communicates with batteries to monitor cell voltage, temperature, and charge status.
