Renewable Lubricants has introduced a new line of ultimately biodegradable hydraulic fluids designed for equipment operating in environmentally sensitive areas, including trails, shorelines, marinas and construction sites near waterways.

The Bio-Fleet Hydraulic Fluids are available in ISO 22, 32, 46 and 68 grades. The formulations meet or exceed several common industry performance standards, including Vickers M-2950-S, Vickers I-286-S, U.S. Steel 126 and 127, and DIN 51524 Parts 2 and 3 for vane, piston and gear pumps. The fluids are formulated for systems requiring anti-wear, rust protection, oxidation resistance, foam control and water separation.

The products are designed for outdoor equipment frequently exposed to moisture and contaminants, such as mulchers, tractors, beach rakes, dredging equipment and shoreline maintenance machinery. According to the company, the fluids are highly inhibited against rust in both fresh and salt water and provide thermal stability for high- and low-pressure hydraulic systems.

The fluids are intended for use in a range of mobile and stationary hydraulic systems, including compactors, balers, refuse collection vehicles and other industrial equipment.
