Morbark Debuts Rayco T415 Forestry Mulcher and Hydra-Stumper

The Rayco T415 Forestry Machine from Morbark LLC is suited for large-scale land clearing, allowing users to change between a Predator forestry mower/mulcher head and a Hydra Stumper stump cutter attachment for optimal versatility.

• Powered by a 415-hp Caterpillar C9.3B Tier 4 Final diesel engine
• Closed-loop hydrostatic system powers the mulcher or cutter head, sending 140 gpm to the attachment drive motor(s)
• Predator mulcher head for mowing/mulching applications offers a 91.25-in. cutting width and is powered by a pair of variable-displacement drive motors
• Hydra Stumper head muscles through stumps with a 48-in.-diameter by 3-in.-thick cutter wheel with a cutting range of 9 ft. wide, 8 ft. 10 in. high and 46 in. deep
• Elevated cooling design places engine radiators in both the rear of the engine compartment and in the limb riser
• Reversing fans clear debris screens on command and an onboard air compressor further aids in cleaning debris screens
• Track tensioning system with monitor alerts operator to over-tension situations and provides easier access to track tension grease fittings
• Includes a ROPS/FOPS/OPS-certified, hydraulic tilt cab, heavy-duty 35,000-lb. hydraulic rear winch, high-output LED lights on all four sides and a rear view camera
• DENIS CIMAF mulching head will be an option in the near future
