Like other southeast Wisconsin manufacturers, Kohler Co. has been busy shipping generators to customers in areas ravaged by Hurricane Irene.
The Kohler-based company increased shipments of its stand-by generators in advance of the hurricane, said Melanie Tydrich, senior channel manager. The storm left a reported six million residences and businesses without electricity.
