On February 2, 2018 Tamarack Industries, a family owned business, purchased the assets of Thawzall LLC. The Thawzall brand will join the other Tamarack brands including Heat King and Heat Assault.

Thawzall has become a well established brand in the oil and gas industry. Thawzall’s flameless product will be an excellent addition to the Tamarack line up as the company expands into the resource sector with the HK1500 (1.5 million Btu/Hr glycol) and IDF (1 million Indirect Fired Heater). Tamarack has been manufacturing the Heat King ground thawing and space heating equipment for over 20 years.
