Dri-Eaz Products has just announced the availability of the new LGR 3500i, a portable dehumidifier which delivers a water removal capacity of 170 pints at AHAM while only drawing 10.5 amps. Like the 2800i dehumidifier introduced by Dri-Eaz last year, the 3500i utilizes onboard sensors to automatically monitor inlet and outlet conditions and displays these values on the control panel. The digital controls also enable easy humidistat set-up for ongoing moisture control. The 3500i uses the same compact platform as the 2800i, weighs the same, and features the same well-balanced easy-transport design. The housing is constructed of rugged rotomolded polyethylene, first introduced by Dri-Eaz to the restoration market and long favored for its durability, ease of maintenance, and professional appearance. The 3500i is also remote-sensing capable. When used with the HygroTrac Remote Monitoring System (purchased separately), customers can monitor system performance and drying environment conditions in real time from any Web browser.
