KNIPEX Tools has released the KNIPEXTEND System, which offers a secure grip and customization opportunities for various hand tools. The new tri-color grip handle is comprised of three materials: a textured surface for grip and control (gray), a soft component (blue) and a high strength material for durability (red).
At the base of the handle are two slots which enable users to customize their tool with ColorCoded Clips or a TetheredTool Clip. Ten ColorCoded Clips are available (sold individually or in two available sets) for identification of tools in a bag and ownership on jobsites while the TetheredTool Clip connects a tool to the KNIPEX Tethered Tool System, providing protection against accidents caused by falling tools.

The StepCut Cable Shears is available in a large size at 9 in. in length and in three handle styles (including the KNIPEXTEND). Rounding out the TubiX Pipe Cutter family is the TubiX S, a compact pipe cutter at 3 in. for cutting copper and steel pipes in confined spaces. Finally, a 5-3/4-in. Ratcheting Knife caters to stripping large diameter cable sheaths.
