Alamo Group acquires NiteHawk Sweepers
Alamo Group Inc. announced in July it has acquired Nite-Hawk Sweepers LLC, based in Kent, WA.
NiteHawk manufactures truck-mounted sweeping equipment including the NH400DX parking lot sweeper and the NH200 sweeper designed for smaller jobs and parking garage sweeping. Alamo also owns Schwarze Industries, which markets a number of street and parking lot sweepers in addition to pothole patching equipment.
Alamo said former NiteHawk owners Tracy Day and Brad Morris will remain active with the company as it becomes part of Alamo Group's North American Industrial Division.
Asphalt-Rubber Conference set for October
The AR 2006 International Asphalt-Rubber Conference will be held October 24-27 in Cathedral City, CA.
The conference offers both technical and application programs for training and education based on the latest developments in asphalt-rubber research.
