Rubicon Professional Services Announces Appointment of Three Key Team Members

Appointments will bolster Rubicon's portfolio of construction, consulting, engineering, and energy services.

As part of today's announcement, Rubicon is making the following appointments: Tim Fichter will be assuming the role as Senior Project Manager; Mark Novak will take the position of Superintendant; and Steven Klein will assume responsibility as Superintendant and Safety Director. All will significantly bolster Rubicon's broad-based portfolio of construction, consulting, engineering, and energy services.

"A lot of companies today are jumping on the energy efficiency bandwagon, but Rubicon Professional Services is one of the only companies with the experience to back it up," said Jim Embley, CEO of Rubicon Professional Services. "It's our commitment to making key hires such as Tim, Mark and Steve -- with their broad knowledge of the construction marketplace -- that solidifies our leadership position and helps customers power the green data center and energy efficiency revolution."

Rubicon Professional Services provides customers with innovative solutions for critical facility design and construction. Unlike traditional general contractors, Rubicon's professional engineers deliver unique alternatives for building or upgrading core facilities -- from design/build and construction management to energy services and equipment integration.

Adding to this expertise, Fichter comes to Rubicon from Nova Corporation, where he was a Senior Project Manager for more than five years. At Nova, Fichter was responsible for coordinating a range of design-build infrastructure projects and has been in the industry for more than 20 years. Novak has more than 32 years in commercial construction -- ten of which were with Nova Corporation -- and ran point on a range of data center development projects ranging from several hundred thousand to several hundred million dollars. For Klein, Rubicon is the culmination of a 20-plus year career in project management, execution and leadership in the construction industry. Klein has distinct expertise as both a Project and Safety Superintendant.

Embley explains: "To ensure the effective design and construction of critical facilities, you need a team of experts that fully understands your business -- a team that can navigate through complicated trends such as energy and efficiency. As evidenced by today's announcement, Rubicon brings together a broad range of services and experts that is truly unmatched in the industry. No other competitor even comes close."
