Skanska Acquires Indiana's Industrial Contractors Inc.

$135 million purchase adds to Skanska reach in commercial, industrial and power markets of the Midwest

Skanska USA has acquired Industrial Contractors Inc. and its affiliated companies, based in Evansville, Ind., for $135 million on a debt free basis. Industrial Contractors is a leading contractor in the commercial, industrial and power markets of the Midwest. The company employs 2,400 people and its 2011 revenues are estimated to be approximately $500 million. The transaction was signed and closed Dec. 28, 2011.
