
Skanska has promoted Frank Longo to vice president – account manager for its South Florida operations. The appointment, effective Aug. 2, expands Longo’s responsibilities to include managing client relationships and supporting project growth across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
Longo, who has been with Skanska for two decades and has more than 40 years of construction experience, previously served as vice president – project executive. He will continue to oversee the projects he has managed while taking on new leadership duties in the region.
During his career, Longo has led major projects in healthcare, education, hospitality and public spaces. Recent work includes projects for Jackson Health, Broward Health, Florida International University and the University of Miami.
Tracy Hunt, Skanska’s executive vice president and general manager for Florida building operations, said Longo’s experience in the South Florida market will be critical to advancing the company’s work in the region.
