Trimble announced that chief accounting officer Julie Shepard will retire in early 2026 after more than 18 years with the company. Shepard will remain in her role through the audit of the 2025 financial statements and work closely with her successor to ensure a smooth transition.

The company named Kenny Bement as its next CAO, effective September 2025. Bement has more than 20 years of experience in financial reporting, compliance, and finance operations. He previously served as CAO for Conservice, Vista Outdoor, Ancestry, and Gopuff, and held senior roles at Alphabet and Raytheon. Early in his career, Bement worked at the Financial Accounting Standards Board, where he was the primary author of the ASC 606 revenue recognition standard.

Trimble also announced the hiring of Jim Palermo as chief information officer, a newly created role. Palermo will lead information technology infrastructure to support the company’s Connect and Scale digital transformation strategy. He most recently served as CIO at Red Hat, where he oversaw global teams and guided a major SaaS business model transition. Palermo has also held positions at Cisco and Nortel.
