Pattern Paving Products, Swarco Industries Sign Strategic Agreement

Charlotte, NC ­ (October 18, 2011) - ­ Pattern Paving Products (PPP) is pleased to announce the signing of a strategic agreement with Swarco Industries on October 5, 2011. Through this agreement, PPP will market and sell a new decorative, preformed thermoplastic product ­ ThermoPrintHT ­ specially created for high-traffic areas. PPP will provide training and installation support to a group of certified installers. Swarco's 35-plus years of thermoplastic marking compound and formulating, along with its new production line in Columbia Tennessee, will ensure a consistent quality product.

ThermoPrintHT is a specially formulated decorative thermoplastic material that uses reinforced aggregates to create this durable, road-marking material. ThermoPrintHT is typically installed to improve pedestrian safety at high-traffic intersections, while providing decorative enhancement to the cityscape.
Preformed sheets are heat-applied to an asphalt surface and then stamped using a cable template pattern. The results? A surface that is durable, safe and decorative.
