GemSeal Pavement Products Announces New Hires

Eight new employees have taken various positions in both sales and product manager roles.

GemSeal Pavement Products recently hired several new sales and product managers. Below are the eight newest members of the company.

 

Natasha Albuquerque, Project Chemist, is based out of the Tampa laboratory.  She is responsible for research and development of new products and process technologies.  Natasha has experience with environmental research, office, laboratory, and field work.  Prior to joining GemSeal, she served as an Environmental Scientist and Staff Scientist on national and international projects involving site characterization, groundwater and air monitoring, conceptual site models, and remediation.  Natasha has a B.S. degree from Colorado School of Mines in Chemistry and Geochemistry.  

 

Heath Carew, Territory Sales Manager, is based out of the Auburn Hills, Michigan, manufacturing facility and manages sales in Michigan, Ohio, and Ontario.  Prior to joining GemSeal, Heath spent nearly 15 years leading all aspects of retail construction sales for Lowe’s. He has extensive experience recruiting, hiring, and training general contractors, construction contractors, and repair service subcontractors for the Lowe’s program. 

 

Job Davis, Territory Sales Manager, with 30 years of experience in the pavement maintenance industry, manages sales in New England, New York, and Montreal.  Job has extensive knowledge of pavement and bridge preservation products through his work with state highway, bridge design, and maintenance departments; municipal highway departments; railroads; airports; engineering firms; and various contractors.  He has had involvement with the Northeast Pavement Preservation Partnership, Northeast Bridge Preservation Partnership, Bay State Roads, FAA workshop, Vermont Local Roads, as well as many local municipal organizations.  Job is an experienced speaker on pavement and bridge preservation.  

 

Anthony “Tony” Fargnoli, National Sales Director for the GemPatch product line, has 33 years of experience in the construction industry. Tony manages technical sales of GemPatch, a high-performance pavement repair material, throughout the United States. Prior to joining GemSeal, Tony served in various sales and quality control capacities, and was involved in all aspects of product development for bituminous concrete, concrete, and patching materials. Additionally, he has extensive experience obtaining DOT product approvals.  

 

Doug Gensler, Territory Sales Manager, leads the sales effort in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.  Prior to joining GemSeal, he served in a variety of roles where he worked closely with state, county, and municipal highway departments; airports; and contractors to promote pavement preservation.  Doug has extensive involvement with the American Public Works Association, local technical assistance programs, The National Association of County Engineers, the New Jersey Asphalt Paving Association, The Asphalt Institute, The National Center for Asphalt Technology, PAMMA, and other industry organizations.  He is an experienced speaker on safety and crew/inspector training.  

 

Robert Knarr, Territory Sales Manager, based out of the Tampa manufacturing facility, manages sales throughout the state of Florida.  Robert has over 28 years of experience in pavement maintenance. His primary focus has been selling sealcoat products direct to contractors, but he also has experience implementing pavement solutions for property managers nationwide. At GemSeal, Robert continues to work closely with his existing relationships while also forging new business with both contractors and property managers through networking and speaking at industry events.

 

Ken McBride, Territory Sales Manager, has over 20 years of sales experience in the pavement maintenance industry. Ken manages existing accounts located near the Dallas and Memphis manufacturing facilities and will develop new business in Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, and Tennessee.  Prior to joining GemSeal, Ken specialized in implementing pavement maintenance solutions for government and large-contractor accounts along with selling bulk sealer to customers in the Great Plains and South-Central U.S. 

 

Mike Wiemann, Territory Sales Manager, based out of the Atlanta manufacturing facility, manages new and existing accounts in Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Alabama.  Mike has over 13 years of sales experience in the sealcoating industry where he developed relationships with contractors and property owners and created parking lot maintenance programs.  At GemSeal, Mike is focused on similar efforts along with writing local and regional product application specifications.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota.
