Diamond Mowers has redesigned its Mid-Mount Boom Mower to improve precision, operator control and roadside safety. The updated attachment was developed with input from municipal operators and introduces a narrower profile, smarter controls and new safeguards to reduce downtime and risk.

The mower’s streamlined design reduces machine width by repositioning the hydraulic tank and adding an axle stabilizer, minimizing lane encroachment during operation. The attachment now sits within inches of the tractor’s tire on the traffic-facing side, providing more space for both operators and passing vehicles.

Upgraded excavator-grade components, customizable joystick sensitivity and a Smart Screen interface allow operators to adjust boom responsiveness in real time and access diagnostics quickly. Fleet managers can also restrict settings to ensure less experienced operators maintain safe speeds.

Additional safety and performance features include:

  • Hydraulic disengage option to reduce wear, fuel use, and heat when not mowing.
  • Relocated hydraulic cooler for improved visibility in low-light conditions.
  • Hydraulic level sensor that disables controls if oil runs low to prevent damage.
  • Premium hydraulic valve for smoother boom movement and contamination resistance.

Designed for highway shoulders, ditches, and utility corridors, the reengineered Mid-Mount Boom Mower is built to support municipal and commercial roadside maintenance with greater efficiency and control.
