LGMG North America has announced the release of its latest machine in the boom lift category: the A30JE Narrow Electric Articulating Boom Lift. Designed to operate in confined or indoor environments, the A30JE brings a compact design, extended reach, and standard durability features that address the practical needs of contractors and rental fleet operators.
Design for Tight Spaces
The A30JE is built for maneuverability in tight or restricted areas, with a width of just under 4 feet and a weight of 14,771 pounds. The boom lift is suited for indoor spaces such as warehouses, industrial facilities and healthcare environments where low emissions and compact equipment are required.
Despite its small footprint, the A30JE offers:
- Maximum platform height of 29 feet 6 inches
- Horizontal outreach of 20 feet 6 inches
- Up-and-over clearance of 13 feet 6 inches
Its turning radius—5 feet 5 inches inside and 10 feet 4 inches outside—further supports precise movement in enclosed work zones.

Power and Durability Features
The A30JE runs on eight 6-volt, 390Ah lead-acid batteries, providing enough power for extended shifts without emissions. Standard features include a rotating jib and platform as well as the company’s Hostile Environment Package, which adds protective components such as cylinder bellows, boom wipers, hydraulic hose shielding, and a platform control box cover to help extend component life.
These features aim to reduce wear and tear, especially in demanding applications or settings where exposure to dust, debris, or regular impacts is common.
Applications and Use Cases
The A30JE is suited for contractors and rental companies working in environments where emissions, size constraints, or maneuverability are major considerations. It offers a zero-emission alternative for vertical and outreach tasks in indoor or semi-enclosed construction and maintenance sites.
Support and Warranty
The A30JE is supported by a standard warranty across LGMG’s MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platform) equipment. For details on warranty terms and equipment specifications, users can visit lgmgna.com.
