Through a set of themes for the show, the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) has come forward with their plans on bringing the importance of mobile elevating work platform (MEWP) and mast climbing work platform (MCWP) training, safety, and industry leadership into focus.
CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 is located in Las Vegas, on March 3-7, 2026. Attendees will be able to find IPAF at booth GL31205 in the Grand Lobby. They will be able to connect with the IPAF team, explore training and safety resources, and learn how IPAF continues to support safer, more productive powered access operations across the industry.
Throughout the show, IPAF experts will spotlight a range of initiatives designed to help contractors, rental companies, supervisors, and operators improve productivity while reducing risk on jobsites in North America. Visitors to the stand will find actionable guidance, practical tools, and training resources that can be applied in everyday MEWP operations.
Tony Groat, IPAF North America Regional Manager, said:
I’m looking forward to hosting a seminar at the event on March 5, titled Smart MEWP Selection: The Accessories That Take Safety Further. It’s not just about picking the right lift; it’s about equipping it for safety and efficiency. After selecting the correct MEWP, one must focus on the many accessories and options available in today’s market, many of which can influence or even change your final equipment choice.
“The message I hope attendees take away from CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 is simple: safety and productivity are not opposites; they’re partners. I hope people leave with a stronger understanding of how to select the right MEWP and the knowledge and tools needed to complete work safely and efficiently.
IPAF’s core themes for the show include:
- eLearning: Accessible, Affordable, and A92.24-Compliant Training: Attendees can learn more about IPAF’s enhanced training curriculum, which supports ANSI/SAIA A92.24 requirements and is designed to remove traditional barriers to training.
- Roadways Safety Campaign: IPAF North America’s latest safety campaign is titled How to Stay Safe on or Near Roadways, aimed at reducing the growing number of vehicle-related incidents involving MEWPs.
- Digital Innovation: IPAF will deliver live demonstrations of its ePAL app, which provides digital PAL Cards, operator logbooks, training records, and access to safety guidance. The app is designed to help companies streamline training verification, improve record-keeping, and ensure that only trained operators are using MEWPs on site.
- Advancing Safe MEWP Use Together: IPAF will also engage with attendees interested in joining IPAF North America and becoming part of a growing community committed to advancing safe and effective MEWP use across the industry.
