MEC Aerial Work Platforms has begun shipping its new PLUS electric scissor lift models and the MME30 vertical mast lift to rental fleets across North America.
The PLUS lineup includes updated versions of several slab scissor lift models, including the Micro 19+, Micro 26+, 3232+, 3346+, 4046+ and 4555+. According to MEC, the machines feature increased platform capacities, longer battery run times and updated controls designed to improve productivity and reduce downtime.
Capacity increases range from 50 to 150 pounds, depending on the model, while deck extension capacities have been raised to 300 pounds. New drive motors and energy recovery systems also help extend operating time between charges.
MEC also introduced the MME30 vertical mast lift, which offers a 36-foot working height and a 32.5-inch overall width for access through standard doorways. The machine has a 350-pound platform capacity, a platform extension and the ability to drive while fully elevated.
The product line updates also include maintenance-free AGM batteries, larger forklift pockets, lockable battery disconnects and MEC's Leak Containment System designed to help protect finished flooring.
