According to the California Rental Association, its Executive Director Dale Blackwell has died. He was 65.
He passed away on April 15, 2020, due to complications of a severe traumatic brain injury.
Blackwell served on the board of directors and as an officer of the CRA for 17 years. He was also the chairman of CRA's insurance committee for 14 years. He was named executive director of the CRA in 2006.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Victoria, their five children, his three siblings, several nieces and nephews and four grandchildren.
