Jetstream of Houston has introduced a new hot water cleaning unit designed for industrial applications where heat improves cleaning performance. The 2000 Series Hot Water Unit delivers heated water at pressures up to 5,000 psi and can be used for a range of cleaning tasks, including graffiti removal, degreasing industrial equipment and prepping concrete or pavement.
The system pairs Jetstream’s 2000 Series UNx™ pump with a diesel-fired burner, providing up to a 70°F water temperature rise. The unit produces up to 19.8 gallons per minute of heated water, which can be split between one to four guns for multi-user operation.
“The pressure rating is lower than typical waterblasting systems but better suited for cleaning with heat,” said John Schaer, engineering manager at Jetstream. “It gives contractors more options for matching the equipment to the job.”
When heat isn’t needed, operators can bypass the burner to use the system as a standard high-pressure waterblaster. With a conversion kit, the fluid end can also be reconfigured to achieve pressures ranging from 6,000 to 40,000 psi and flows down to 2.9 gpm — allowing a single unit to cover a wide range of applications.
Built with serviceability in mind, the system features Jetstream’s UNx fluid end design, which allows for field maintenance and valve changes using basic tools. The unit also includes a 90-gallon water tank, charge pump, filtration system and integrated hose rack for jobsite convenience.
Mounted on a low-profile trailer, the unit is designed for durability in tough environments, with a galvanized steel frame to resist corrosion and a torsion axle system to reduce wear during transport.
The 2000 Series Hot Water Unit is now available for rental or purchase.
