Cooper Equipment Rentals, a Canadian-owned and operated construction equipment rental company, completed the Certificate of Recognition (COR) in Ontario as administered by the Infrastructure Health & Safety Association (IHSA).

“This highly reputable designation is a recognition of Cooper’s ongoing commitment to safety” said Dave Badger, environment and safety manager at Cooper. “To pursue this optional certification throughout a global pandemic highlights the importance of Health and Safety to our team with involvement from our branches, all the way to senior management.”

Over the past five years, Cooper has adapted its Health and Safety policies and procedures nationwide to achieve COR certifications in Alberta, British Colombia and Ontario.

COR is an occupational health and safety accreditation program that assesses employer's health and safety management systems to ensure they adhere to national standards. Cooper participated in the audit process, consisting of employee interviews, documentation reviews and observation techniques to evaluate their ability to identify, assess, and control risks to its employees.

With this latest certification, 97 percent of eligible Cooper Equipment Rentals locations are now COR certified.

Perkins Engines Co. Ltd. appointed Monarch Power Supply as an authorized Perkins distributor for the Western U.S., effective Nov. 14, 2022.

The territory covers Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, and the United States Territory of Guam.

A family owned and operated business, Monarch Power Supply is backed by more than 100 years of experience in the industrial and construction industries.

LHP Telematics' Equipment Intelligence platform has been selected and deployed by ACME Lift, a nationwide earth moving rental company.

“Having a common view of fleet assets with rental system integration allows us to focus on exception management and better serve our customers” said Cara Hammar, Special Projects Manager at ACME. “Working closely with LHP’s product team, we personalized the platform’s user-interface to reflect our rental process, including our specific service metrics, in less than 90 days.”

The telematics deployment includes data integration with ACME’s rental business software to create personalized views for the end user. This enables ACME’s strategy of providing customers with single point of support and seamless communications.

ACME will use this integrated solution to proactively manage machine maintenance and reduce or eliminate unscheduled events. Dispatch and logistics staff benefit from business system integration with an uncluttered view of assets going on rent and off rent. Improving rental velocity benefits ACME as well as their customers. Having accurate visibility to machine location and rental status supports better decision making.
